User interface personalisation

Task:

To find new innovative ways for users to personalise their usage of mobile phones and to design a concept or an application that supports that.

Methods used:
- Questionnaires and surveys to get ideas and inspiration
- Extreme characters to find hidden requirements
- Personal inventory to identify requirements and study the lifestyle of potential users
- Character profiles for adaptation of identified profiles for interaction
- “Big papers” to get a clear picture of the design and its coherence, to sort and structure the information
- Paper prototyping for the initial prototyping

Results
